Ace Wire Spring & Form Co. Hires New Sales Engineering Manager Design-2-Part Magazine
McKEES ROCKS, Pa.—Ace Wire Spring & Form Company, Inc., a manufacturer of custom precision springs, recently announced that Bob McCormick has joined the company as the new sales engineering manager.
Mr. McCormick brings to the position more than 40 years of diversified experience—including engineering, sales, and business development—in the chemical and manufacturing industries. Previously, he served as vice president of business development with Carnegie Strategic Design Engineering (CSD), director of projects coordination for Chemstress Consultant Company, and manager of estimation and cost control for USS Chemicals/Aristech Chemicals.
As vice president of CSD, his responsibilities included sales and marketing while developing process engineering, construction engineering, project management, and estimating capabilities with major clients. While with Chemstress Consulting Company, headquartered in Akron, Ohio, he was responsible of opening up the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office to better service its existing clients and acquiring new clients in the area. Mr. McCormick started his sales and marketing career in 1995, after leaving U.S. Steel-Chemicals /Aristech Chemicals and having served 28 years in the engineering field.
